ReEngagEd is an Alternative Education Provision service based in Burnage at The Hive, which is owned by Burnage Academy for Boys, focussing on teaching students (male and female) practical and life skills like bricklaying, plastering, electrical wiring, tiling joinery, food preparation, cooking, health and fitness, mental health and well-being skills, whilst studying English and Mathematics everyday up to GCSE Higher level. All teaching is from experienced, qualified teachers.
ReEngagEd is predominantly a provision for students who struggle to self-regulate within mainstream school and are at risk of being permanently excluded or needing more additional support than is available in a mainstream setting.
